Important Safety Information:

  • Read all instructions before using the treadmill.

  • Do not use the treadmill if your dog has any health conditions or injuries that may be exacerbated by exercise.

  • Always supervise your dog when using the treadmill.

  • Keep children and other pets away from the treadmill when in use.

  • It’s recommended that do not feed your dog before or after a walkout.

  • Connect your dog to the treadmill by harness rather than a collar.

  • Use the treadmill in short intervals (no more than 20 minutes per time, split with 10 minutes running and 10 minutes walkout sessions) to prevent your dog from becoming overheated or exhausted. Reduce the time if your dog is not in great condition or feels uncomfortable.

Using the Treadmill:

  1. Acclimate your dog to the machine by allowing them to sniff and explore it. DO NOT connect or work with them right away. Simply having them feel comfortable standing or sitting on it.
  2. Put on a harness and connect your dog to the treadmill. Never rely on them to figure out what todo just yet. BE PATIENTLY. Adjust the no-slip mat to ensure the stability of the machine placement. Position yourself in front of them and call them directly. Encourage them to move their paws slowly. Don't be concerned if they don't. Wait, give them praise, and lead them away from the treadmill.
  3. Repeat Step#2 until they can walk on it by them self. Always keep them walk around instead of running at first. This can help them get used to the machine entirely. After getting familiar with the machine, encourage them to run by standing in front of them and applauding or calling them to you.
  4. When finished using the treadmill, remove your dog's harness. Lift the rear of the machine, move the machine to the desired place by the front wheels if necessary.

Maintenance:

  • Keep the treadmill clean and free of debris.

  • Regularly inspect the machine for signs of wear and tear or damage

  • Lubricate the treadmill as directed by the manufacturer.

  • Store the treadmill in a dry and safe location when not in use.

The treadmill may not be enjoyable for your dog if they are wrongly exposed to it. It might take 24 hours or even 24 days to reduce the fear. So read this instruction carefully and take the process very gently will help your dog build the confidence on the machine.
